When you add good food to the mix, it’s hard not to get addicted. I liked the vibe of this place – very relaxing. It was hard to catch her attention once the place began filling up and luckily we were able to pay our bill as we were going to the tourist train ride situated in town, Verde Canyon Railroad, which was excellent, worth its expensive tickets. The waitress was very friendly, as one might expect in a homey place, but she was spread thin as they were extremely short-staffed. They were so big that I shared them with my wife, especially since I had already had some breakfast. The pancakes were huge, like the old days, although not cheap. Thank G-d, as it began to fill up soon thereafter, as it. It’s a big restaurant and it was almost empty as we got there early in the morning. It’s a chain that began in northern CA, Mount Shasta, which accounts for its homey atmosphere. ![]()
